Join the Parade!

Neighborhood floats have been at the heart of Piedmont's 4th of July parade since the beginning, though the tradition has waned in recent years.

To encourage more participation, the 4th of July Committee is offering $500 stipend to support neighborhoods entering the parade.

To enter the parade:

This year's theme is "Small Town, Big Spirit."

Attendee Guidelines

Please be considerate of public spaces in advance of and during celebrations:

  • Do not place chairs at bus stops
  • Do not block access from the street to the sidewalk with chairs
  • Use blankets rather than tarps for picnics in the park. Tarps damage the grass

Thank you for helping keep Piedmont's 4th of July celebrations safe and accessible for all.
