Community building is at the heart of what we do at PRD. Join us at one of our upcoming Special Events! You can easily register online through PRD's Community Pass website. 
 
We highly recommend registering in advance for PRD Special Events. Please note that a Community Pass account is required.

Save time and avoid delays by registering ahead of time! Registering at the door can take longer and may slow your entry. Don't forget to remind your friends and family to register early too!

Learn the fundamentals of improv in a supportive and silly workshop. Enjoy games and exercises that teach you how to actively listen to yourself and peers, support ideas without judgment, and learn how to play again as an adult. No experience needed. Shy people are welcome.  

 

Piedmont Community Hall Celebrates 100 Years!

The Piedmont community celebrated Albert Farr's Exedra Plaza and Community Hall completion at a dedication ceremony April 3, 1925. Join us as we celebrate 100 years of these beautiful landmarks in Piedmont Park.

Get egg-cited PRD Families, it's soon-to-be Egg Hunt Time!


Join the Piedmont Recreation Department for its FUNderful
egg-stravaganza in Piedmont Park! Park lawns will be filled with thousands of stuffed eggs (over 5000!) for little hunters to discover. Seasonal-themed activities will be set up around the park as well as photo opportunities with PRD's very own Spring Time Bunny. PRD's annual event is great for kids ages seven years and under and the perfect way to hop into spring.

PRD Special Events are family-friendly and fun! Parent/Guardian attendance is required (not a drop-off program). This event runs RAIN or SHINE!

Pop-Up Putt-Putt & Picnic in the Park

PUPP

Get your friends, family, neighbors, classmates, community groups, or coworkers together to create one of the novelty obstacle course holes for Piedmont's 2nd Annual Pop-Up Putt-Putt course!

Prizes will be awarded for: Best Overall, Most Creative, Most Clever, and Best Use of Recycled Materials.

The course entries will be set up in the Community Hall parking lot the morning of April 27th. The Piedmont Pop-Up Putt-Putt course will be open for the community to play a round between 12:004:00 pm. After you play, green and picnic in beautiful Piedmont Park!

Make sure to check out the mobile golf simulator, sponsored by ACE Golf, while you are there!

Play Like a Girl+ Piedmont

This year's event is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, from 10:00 am–2:00 pm. The event is FREE however to ensure you receive an event t-shirt, advanced registration is required.
