PRD Special Events

Community building is at the heart of what we do at PRD. Join us at one of our upcoming Special Events! You can easily register online through PRD's Community Pass website. 
 
We highly recommend registering in advance for PRD Special Events. Please note that a Community Pass account is required.

Save time and avoid delays by registering ahead of time! Registering at the door can take longer and may slow your entry. Don't forget to remind your friends and family to register early too!

801nce/Month Events 

Designed for you to unwind, gather with friends, and make new connections in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. Each evening is a fusion of adult socializing and entertainment.

All events are held at 801 Magnolia Avenue, Main Room. Advanced Registration is required and available via Community Pass.

Discover how the rich textures and flavors of various cheeses can complement or contrast the nuanced profiles of different wines.
Noche de Flamenco y Paella $75 per person  |  Ages 18+	Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 7:00–9:00 pm	An enchanting evening of passion and flavor! Immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of authentic Spanish flamenco as professional dancers and musicians take the stage. Indulge your taste buds with a delicious paella dinner and enjoy the lively atmosphere as you savor each bite.
Adult LEGO® Design Challenge Night with Playwell TEKologies $50 per person  |  Ages 18+	Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 6:30–8:00 pm	LEGO® are not just for kids! Unleash your inner architect and builder at the adult LEGO® Design Challenge Night. Put your LEGO® skills to the test in a series of hands-on challenges working in teams you'll receive unique design parameters, encouraging you to think outside the brick. Come with a team or as a free agent!
Puzzle Palooza $30 per team  |  Ages 18+	Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6:30–8:30 pm	PRD's first ever Puzzle Palooza! Gather your team for a mind-bending evening of fun and competition! Each team will receive an identical puzzle to put together which team will be the first to complete theirs and claim victory?
Intro to Improv: Let's Play with All Out Comedy Theater $30 per person  |  Ages 21+	Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 6:30–8:15 pm	Learn the fundamentals of improv in a supportive and silly workshop. Enjoy games and exercises that teach you how to actively listen to yourself and peers, support ideas without judgment, and learn how to play again as an adult. No experience needed. Shy people are welcome.

Bunny Blast

Join the Piedmont Recreation Department for its FUNderful
egg-stravaganza in Piedmont Park! Park lawns will be filled with thousands of stuffed eggs (over 5000!) for little hunters to discover. Seasonal-themed activities will be set up around the park as well as photo opportunities with PRD's very own Spring Time Bunny. PRD's annual event is great for kids ages seven years and under and the perfect way to hop into spring.

PRD Special Events are family-friendly and fun! Parent/Guardian attendance is required (not a drop-off program). This event runs RAIN or SHINE!

Participant Ages: Children 2–7 (and families!)
Location: Piedmont Community Hall, 711 Highland Avenue
Event Fee: $10 per participant  | Children under two years are FREE and do not need to register

Bunny Blast Egg Hunt Schedule:
2 Years: 9:45 am
3 Years: 10:00 am
4 & 5 Years: 10:15 am
6 & 7 Years: 10:30 am

Pop-Up Putt-Putt & Picnic in the Park

Get your friends, family, neighbors, classmates, community groups, or coworkers together to create one of the novelty obstacle course holes for Piedmont's 2nd Annual Pop-Up Putt-Putt course!

Prizes will be awarded for: Best Overall, Most Creative, Most Clever, and Best Use of Recycled Materials.

The course entries will be set up in the Community Hall parking lot the morning of April 27th. The Piedmont Pop-Up Putt-Putt course will be open for the community to play a round between 12:00–4:00 pm. After you play, green and picnic in beautiful Piedmont Park!

Make sure to check out the mobile golf simulator, sponsored by ACE Golf, while you are there!
