Resident registration for summer swim lessons at the new community pool opens on Tuesday, April 21 at 6pm.

Residents planning to sign up should make sure their household is ready in the aquatics registration portal now at rec.us/piedmont. For community members who were already verified as residents in Community Pass, resident registration options should be available immediately once you create your account. For new users, residency verification can take a couple of days, so residents who have not yet created an account should do so as soon as possible.

Swim lessons begin in June and will be offered for all ages and experience levels, from “Happy Splashers” parent-and-baby water play for children as young as 6 months, to beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for teens and adults. Private swim instruction will also be available.

The program mix includes adult fitness options as well, with drop-in water aerobics already underway on Tuesday mornings and morning yoga on the rooftop pavilion beginning in May.

Use “Fast Track” to save time at checkout

The registration portal includes a “Fast Track” feature that works like a wish list. Residents can save programs they want to register for and complete required forms in advance, making checkout faster once registration opens.

Fast Track does not reserve space in a class.

• Add household members who may participate in lessons

For annual passholders, registration is already open

Summer swim lesson registration for resident annual passholders opened on April 14.

Residents who purchase an annual pool pass before Tuesday can register before general resident registration opens. Annual passholders also receive priority registration for other aquatics programming throughout the year.
