COVID-19 Advisory Notice Regarding Public Meetings

Consistent with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and No. N-29-20 from the Executive Department of the State of California and the Alameda County Health Official’s March 31, 2020 Shelter in Place Orders, the majority of City of Piedmont Public Meetings have been cancelled. Essential meetings are being held virtually. For the month of April, only the City Council and Planning Commission will meet. The City Council Chambers will not be open and Councilmembers, Commissioners, staff members, and member of the public will participate virtually via ZOOM teleconference or other means.

The exact participation details are spelled out on the agenda for each meeting. Members of the public will be able to comment in writing through the ZOOM teleconference platform or in writing by sending emails to publiccomment@piedmont.ca.gov

Any member of the public who needs accommodations should email the City Clerk at cityclerk@piedmont.ca.gov or call (510) 420-3040 who will make their best efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to provide as much accessibility as possible while also maintaining public safety in accordance with the City procedure for resolving reasonable accommodation requests. Information about reasonable accommodations is available on the City website at https://piedmont.ca.gov.
