City Administrator

Sara LillevandThe City of Piedmont has a council-administrator form of government. in this form of government, the City Council provides legislative direction while the City Administrator is responsible for day-to-day administrative operations of the city based on the Council’s policy direction and recommendations. 

Piedmont's City Administrator is appointed by the City Council and serves as the chief administrative officer of the city. The City Charter and City Code spell out the duties of the City Administrator. 

Sara Lillevand took office as Piedmont City Administrator on July 15, 2019.
